E.P. Weldex has been developed to support the electrolytic pickling of welded joints. Due to its careful formulation, its acid character helps to activate the top layer of the metal and to remove discolouration.

• E.P. Weldex is easy to use: apply via the cleaning pad of the cleaning device and use a (low) current
• E.P. Weldex gives welded joints an evenly coloured appearance
• E.P. Weldex does not emit poisonous gases when used
• E.P. Weldex is non-corrosive, therefore safe to use and does not cause new discolouration. Does not contain nitric acid or hydrofluoric acid
• E.P. Weldex does not leave spots on stainless steel/ Inox surfaces

Areas of application

• On discolouration of welded joints in stainless steel/ Inox in the metal industry, construction, mechanical engineering plants and in the food and other sectors where a lot of metal is used
• To be used in combination with weld cleaning equipment of various brands and manufacturers
• For manual application, possibly supported by an abrasive action (abrasive cloth or scourer), here, of course, the electrolysis effect is lost
