Optimum Group has fully transitioned after a free Safety Scan.

Optimum Group is a versatile group of printing companies specializing in UV flexo rotary printing and digital printing. The company previously looked for alternatives to solvents for cleaning and degreasing materials. However, the effectiveness and odor were not yet satisfactory. It was time for a new visit. Shift leader Wim Wouters shares his experience with our Safety Scan.

We indicated which products we wanted to replace with safe and ecological alternatives. For this, Eco-Point conducted a free Safety Scan.”

An Alternative for Every Harmful Product

“For removing adhesives from rubber rollers, we initially used Roleco. It performed better than the old products. With E.P. Proplex, it worked even faster and, fortunately, without damaging the rubber rollers. We also found a good alternative to ethyl acetate for removing ink from metal rollers. Natusafe worked REALLY GREAT. It’s fast, very powerful, has no hazard symbols, requires only a small amount (almost no evaporation), dries quickly by wiping, and is food approved. It also efficiently removed a thick layer of old inks from machines and spindles.

On the degreasing table, ink trays are cleaned with a brush from the degreasing tank. We now use Solvega 300 for this. The product works efficiently, has no hazard symbols, has an ISEGA certification, and a very high flash point. As a floor cleaner for removing rubber marks (from pallet trucks and forklifts) with the scrubber machine, we used Ecotense Plus NF with a very nice result. We can now work without hazards. No unpleasant odors, no cracks, wounds, or drying of hands, and no hazard symbols.”

Products Without Hazard Symbols
